Brand story

At the heart of Oraman is a question: what can Iranian identity look like in the clothes we wear today?

For us, the answer lies where roots meet modern life: in a colour that recalls the soil, a texture that carries the feel of nature, and a form that moves with the rhythm of the city. Iranian art and culture are where we look for ideas to try and new things to make.

To us, Oraman stands for endurance, simplicity and life close to nature. A calm, grounded character with the will to keep going; the same spirit we want our clothes to carry.

Our path is to turn this view into contemporary, wearable clothing: rooted, curious and always open to change.

Materials & making

For us, design starts with the relationship between fabric and form. Weight, texture, softness and the way a fabric sits on the body all shape the choice of material for each piece. Every garment calls for its own choice, based on how it is worn and how it is cut.

The same care carries into pattern and construction: the shoulder drop and length, the volume of the sleeve, the line of each seam and the choice of zip. Each of these decisions has to serve the fit, the comfort or the character of the piece.

Quality, for us, is about how a garment feels to wear: the fabric against your skin, the freedom to move, and the shape it gives your style. Our aim is for beauty and function to sit side by side in the details of every piece.
